Happy New Year.

Tonight was a good night. Came home and the devil was really messing with my mind. It was so cold outside and if anyone knows anything about me I do not like the cold. I was glad to be with Gracie and Jonathan and didn't feel like hurrying to change clothes and get ready for church. But of course we did. And I am so glad. Tonight at church we had 4 preachers in the church preach. In the back of my mind I was really wondering what that was going to be like, needless to say it turned out so well. They brought forth some wonderful messages. It is so wonderful to know when God is there right with you and with the church service. Gracie sit with her Sunday School teacher tonight in church. She sat very quiet and still. After church on the way home Gracie said Ms. Tanya (her sunday school teacher) cried at the alter. Is she okay she asked. We got to talk to her about how everything was okay that Ms. Tanya was praying and talking to God. (Mommy tends to cry alot when she prays to the our wonderful Lord these days, although I didn't tell Gracie that of course) Gracie then goes on to says, I pray for Ms Tanya, and she begins..Dear Lord. Please Help Ms. Tanya, help her, she is my best Sunday School teacher. Thank you for our meaning blessings, Amen...........Jonathans eyes tear up, tears rolling down my face...Nothing but silence for a moment...I just want to thank God for working in our little family. Moments like this are precious.!

Christmas.

Well , I suppose it is all over, all of the Christmas celebrations, family gatherings untill next year.

We have been so blessed.

Christmas Eve with Papaw and Garlene. (Evans Family) then to Grandma Mamie's.

Christmas Day. Get up early and have our little family's Christmas . Gracie was so excited over her doll house. I believe Jonathan 's favorite gifts was his Bible and of course the first gift I opened was my traditional candle, I figured it out by the way it was wrapped lol. This year it was the scent of macintosh apples. oh it smells wonderful. Jonathan picked that one out bc it is his Grandpa's favorite apple.

Then on to my parents house for traditional Christmas breakfast, Gracie enjoyed cooking the pancakes with her papa.

By lunch time we headed up to the mountains where we got to see lots of family. We had the wonderful Christmas story read and we all sang "Silent Night" before we opened presents. Gracie also at our family gatherings shared her favorite Christmas song this year "Happy Birthday Jesus" I pray that her little heart always has the desire to sing for our Lord. She does so well.

Sat. We had Christmas at Forrest and Betty's and then went out to eat at Outback. Yum!

Just a little about our Christmas before we start the new work week, but I suppose it doesn't have to be over. Not over in our hearts. As some kids sang at church "We can still celebrate Christmas" The real meaning of Christmas and why he came all year long.

Our Sat.

WOW! How much can you fit in one day? Sat. morning we got up early to head to church to help with stuffing the treat bags for Sunday. We had several hundred treat bags. We finished up a little after 10 so then we headed to get a Christmas present for a guy who Jonathan works with, who he had his name, and back at church by 11:00am for Jonathan to practice there Christmas program one last time. Practice over and we are all packed in the car ready to head up to Ashville, NC to the Grove Park Inn where Best Buy district staff was having there Christmas party. Before hitting the road we get a quick bite to eat and realize we didn't pack Jonathan a tie. Oh no, but guess what we had a gift card to so stopped by Hamricks and pick up a shirt and tie. (thanks mom) Finally on the road...We get about 30 min. down the road Gracie is asleep, so I thought I would rest my eyes a little....then to quickly awakening me Jonathan was running off the road , why you might ask, he is falling asleep. So can you believe that he pulled over and I got to drive. That my seem very simple to many , but it was kind of exciting for me. We had dinner and opened presents. Fireworks and then that evening toured the inn. They had displays of gingerbread houses that were up for competitions, some were being sent to New York. Sunday Morning we had breakfast delivered to the room. No such thing as continental breakfast. Then left by 7:30am to be at church by 10:00am. Wow! This was a very nice experience.

Okay as I sit here taking a little break so many things are running through my mind. Will things ever slow down? What about the things in life you have no answer to? And will you ever get the answer..no probably not..Why do people do the things they do and don't care how they affect others? Do they even realize what they are doing? Maybe not, but they may. I just don't understand. Maybe I have too many questions. Does he one else wonder like this?
Okay before I go back to work I need to get my thoughts back to gether. I am thinking about Psalm 33:4For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. I am sticking this verse in my pocket so I can remember this well today. I am going to see more patients now, it is time for afternoon clinic, who face some major health issues (cancer) I can not imagine being in there shoes. Pray for me that I may the example that I should for these patients and my family.

Oh yea my mom went back to the doctor today, her leg is still not healing correctly. 2 more weeks back to doctor again.

And Gracie did a wonderful job last night in the Christmas program, she said her part so well. "E is for Everyone that Jesus showed is Christmas love for" "Good job Gracie"

oh where to begin...
We have been extremely busy. I wonder about doing this blogging, but I will try again. It is now the holiday season. Where has the time gone. Jonathan has been very busy with work. Last week was a 72 hour week for him and it looks like this week is heading the same way. Playing catch up for a moment. Jonathan, Gracie and I headed up to Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg the first week of December. We watched the Parade in Gatlingburg Friday night. "It was so cold" but beautiful up there. Sat night we went to the Dixie Stampede. This was our Christmas from My mom and dad. Thanks mom and dad. This was one of the best times we have had in a long time. Thanks for helping make memories
